As Ovida grows, so does our delivery team. Here we share more about Cameron and his new role.
What is your role at Ovida?
I have joined Ovida in a time of growth for the business and am managing the development and delivery of some exciting innovative renewable energy projects for major energy users across the country. Ovida is working on some really exciting projects that will see many of our customers and larger business partners realise affordable, reliable and sustainable energy solutions for their businesses.
What is your background and experience?
I am a qualified Electrician nearing 15 years’ experience in delivering renewable energy projects to commercial and industrial customers as well as in front of meter energy solutions by way of big battery and storage solutions in South Australia. I am focused on continuing to deliver renewable energy solutions into the market to drive competitiveness and to achieve the right outcomes for Ovida’s customers. I have seen the industry expand over time and my aim is to always ensure safety, environmental sustainability and customer service is maintained for Ovida’s customers and the community in which we operate.
What’s it been like starting at a new company during COVID-19?
Ovida’s expansion during this time is a testament to sustaining a customer focus and goals that support the transition to renewable energy for our customers and partners – even during this unprecedented year.
I am really excited to have joined a team that is dedicated to tangible innovative solutions and ensuring large energy users are at the centre of our business.
